Uncrafting Table Mod is a mod that lets you do something you have never been able to do yet. It lets you take apart items that have been crafted. As you already know, once an item has been crafted, vanilla does not offer an undo function. If you crafted it by mistake, some mods do allow you to delete or trash the item. However, there is no getting back the resources you used for crafting. As a result, you waste resources that otherwise could have been used for crafting some other items. But with this mod installed, you can say goodbye to wasted resources.
Uncrafting Table Mod 1.11 delivers exactly what its name promises. It allows you to uncraft previously created items and get the items you used. These are added back to your inventory so you can use them for future crafting. You regain everything, so it is a great way to get the resources you need. Uncrafting requires XP that you can configure. You can set how much energy each cycle will use. But what makes this mod even more impressive is the fact that you can even uncraft damaged items, although regaining all the items may need a higher amount of XP.
To be able to re-obtain the items, you will, of course, need to craft the uncrafting table. The mod implements an easy to follow recipe on a 3×3 grid. When you have the table, you just bring the item to it and the mod will take it apart. This is certainly a worthwhile addition especially if you have limited resources in the game. Uncrafting Table is forge-based so make sure you have the recommended forge version installed for the build. Installation is also easy as it follows the same steps as most other mods. Just download the mod compatible with your client and transfer the files to the ‘mods’ folder. Once you launch the game, you can start uncrafting items to regain all the resources you used.
