Ender-Rift Mod is a mod that provides you with virtually unlimited storage. So, if you have a habit of collecting a multitude of resources when you are out exploring, this additional storage space will certainly be helpful. The storage space was discovered purely by accident. It was the result of an experiment where the creators sent a Redstone flux to an in-flight ender pearl in a Redstone field. What they got was a rift that gave access to the space used for teleportation by endermen. And because the rift is technically a void, you can store it with as many as you want. However, it is important to remember that once the rift is destroyed, it will be virtually impossible to get to the same exact space again.
Ender-Rift Mod 1.11 implements a multi-block structure you can use for storage. The rift, though, does not have a default way for you to access its inventory. You will have to rely on other elements such as the rift browser. The ender-rift structure is made from Iron blocks, Redstone blocks, an ender rift orb item and an ender rift core block. The last two elements needed by the structure can be easily crafted. The mod delivers the recipes for these. The ender rift orb requires ender pearls, magma cream, and eye of ender. The ender rift core block is crafted from obsidian blocks, blocks of Redstone, hopper and ender chest.
Other features that the mod implements are the rift-crafting browser, rift interface, and rudimentary generator. These are all necessary to be able to use the storage space efficiently. The mod is forge-based so make sure you have the recommended forge version installed to avoid any issues with the build. Installation is also quite easy as it is the same process you used in installing all other forge-based mods.
