The ability to incorporate the gaming visuals and audio of Dishonored into Minecraft takes the gaming experience of everyone, new and old gamers alike, to a whole new level. Now, whether you are a fan of only the Dishonored game or only the Minecraft game, you will find that this conjunction between the two is something worth giving a try.
More About the Resource Pack’s Inspiration
This resource pack comes with textures such as Sokolov paintings, different enchantments such as the ever-powerful bone charm enchantment, potions such as elixir potions, and many more! One thing to keep in mind is that all the textures are custom-made and are all directed from Dishonored.
Keep also in mind that the concept of the Dishonored resource pack is somewhat similar to Weeper Zombies and Enderman Whalers. This is so because the makers are taking inspiration from the said games. But there will always be differences because the textures you see are creations of the makers.
Also, there are some things like the spiders which are considered as nonexistent in the Dishonored universe. This means that creators have gone beyond the original game’s feel in order to make an informed decision on how to draw something, in particular how to create something that is originally outside of the game.
Future Updates: What to Look Out for in the Resource Pack
The bulk of all things are from Dishonored 1. However, since Dishonored 2 is already out, the sequel will embody and implement more of the changes. You may notice that some versions are different, things that are not the same throughout the entire game.
The overseers would look different in Dishonored 2. The existing textures are kept, and you may notice that there is a tendency to rely on the details portrayed in Dishonored 2 rather in Dishonored 1.
The aim in the future is for the skins in the Dishonored resource pack to be further improved as there are some things and objects that are really hard to appropriately draw using pixel. Confusions on objects in the resource pack can be properly addressed through your comments.
This Dishonored resource pack is still a work in progress; it is not yet a fully complete texture pack. It would still need some improvement. With the help of gamers’ comments and feedback, the developers can create a much better user and gaming experience using this particular resource pack. Updates and revisions will be based on the comments and feedbacks of the players, of course. Rest assured massive updates are on the way.
You can stay tuned by checking updates once a week with a week’s worth of edits and by checking the logs.
The Dishonored resource pack is all about experiencing the amazing familiarity and game mechanics of Minecraft alongside the spectacular textures and styles of both Dishonored 1 and Dishonored 2 (mostly Dishonored 2). Go and try it for yourself.
