Conquest Reforged Resource Pack delivers medieval looking textures that players will adore. Some of the textures and items delivered by the pack are inspired by John Smith’s. So, do not be surprised if you get a déjà vu moment when you see some elements such as the wooden planks. If you loved John Smith’s, then you certainly are going to enjoy Conquest Reforged. However, you are still in for a treat. A lot of the other textures offered by this pack were created specifically for Conquest Reforged, including those used for tables, levers, torches, iron bars and a whole lot more.
Conquest Reforged Resource Pack 1.12.2 and 1.11.2 implements textures that may appear dirty and aged. It offers a variety of ways to craft them into newer items. Some players love this dark and gritty look that is reminiscent of medieval times. The grainy and weathered textures bring a strange charm for those who appreciate a more subdued visual image. However, there are players who do not appreciate the way the resource pack looks. It comes across as gloomy and unexciting. So, if you prefer brighter and more vibrant colors and textures, Conquest Reforged may not be the right pack for you.
Despite being around since 2012, Conquest Reforged Resource Pack still receives quite a few updates from the developer. In fact, it averages one update in every 7 to 10 days. This means you can expect to always see something new or enhanced with the resource pack. With over 100 updates since it first came out, you can count on it to always stay fresh and interesting. This resource pack will need either Optifine or MCPatcher to work without any problems so make sure you have these installed, as well. Opting to leave out these other programs may result in system or game crashes.
