What is Summer Season Resource Pack 1.12.2?
See the world of Minecraft in its full bloom with the third of the four season resource packs by Light Drifter. By the name itself, we can tell that it changes your entire world and turns it into a summer paradise of your dreams. This gives gamers a whole new experience and can make you love the game even more. Let’s check out some of the new stuff in the Summer Season Resource Pack.
The main noticeable difference in this summer theme is the color. From the bird’s-eye-view, the entire terrain has a deep green vibe and it looks absolutely amazing. To complement this change in color, they made everything look brighter. As you roam around your world, you will notice that grasses are thicker than usual with different shade and texture. You will never say “the grass is greener on the other side” ever again. The leaves and wildflowers are also retextured to add to the summer appeal.
The flowers are now medium sized compared to the small sprouting buds and flowers from other spring resource packs. It gives a really convincing summer feel. But that’s not the only thing that got bigger. You will find medium-sized tree logs in this resource pack as well. You can now play with multiple variations of grass from small, medium tall, tall, and double tall grasses all scattered around. What a spectacle, right?
Minecraft is not Minecraft without birch trees. With this Summer Season Resource Pack, it will be one of the nicest things to look at as Light Drifter remodeled the leaves and the roots. If you walk around, you’ll see new dirt patches and flower petals on the ground too. Moreover, the small trees look slightly different. There is also some remodeling done on multiple plants. All of these changes are made to make every tiny detail blend with each other.
You will also find some new cool vegetation added in the game like fruits on the trees and berries on bushes and more. There are special seasonal plants that totally redecorate your usual game with the Summer Season Resource Pack. They are scattered all over the place, and they also move as you walk past them. But all of these are just totally for visuals so you can’t really expect to harvest them. But as you recreate your world, it gives you a more enjoyable view.
Is the summer look making you want to go the water and cool down a little bit? Say no more! Improvements are also done on the water color. It has given a lighter blue color that looks totally refreshing to the eyes. It’s as if you’re in a tropical summer land and all that’s missing now is a fruit shake in a giant cup, and this completes your Summer Season Resource Pack by Light Drifter.
Does the Visual Change Affect the Game?
Fortunately, it does not. If you’ve ever tried Minecraft with the Vanilla Resource Pack on your PC, then you have nothing to worry about. It works perfectly fine. In fact, it works great. It does not slow down the game response because it has a 16×16 resolution, saving you from lag and frame-rate issues. Installing it is also a piece of cake.
Changes in color, texture, shapes, some special plants and fruits added, and resized items in the Summer Season Resource Pack can totally level up your Minecraft gaming life like never before. Don’t miss out on this great update and show your amazing summer world to your friends. Just don’t forget to take a dive in the cool waters after a long day’s work.
