Smoothelium Resource Pack is a pack that gives the game a much-needed facelift. It retains the classic appeal of Minecraft but delivers cleaner and smoother textures. One of the challenges you may have encountered in vanilla are the noisy textures. Blocks appear quite grainy and unattractive to look at. This takes away some of the fun of exploring the world of Minecraft. Smoothelium does not make too many changes in the default. What it does is make the textures smoother so there is less noise. What you get are cleaner images that are a lot nicer to look at.
Smoothelium Resource Pack 1.11 delivers textures that fix vanilla’s sometimes untidy appearance. To enjoy the resource pack’s full potential, you will need to turn off the Alternate Blocks option. This option prevents Smoothelium from implementing the smooth textures that it promises. So it is recommended that you disable it. Aside from the cleaner visuals, you also get treated to detailed and high-definition textures that are often absent from vanilla. You also get vibrant and sharp colors which make Minecraft a lot easier on the eyes and more enjoyable to play. With this pack added to the game, images are a lot more visually appealing.
Smoothelium was only released recently and is still in the process of being completed. Because of its recent release, it may still be a while before it gets an update. However, despite not being fully implemented yet, the features it currently has are already showing a lot of potential. It operates on a 64×64 resolution which is much higher than the default 16×16. This means you can expect to see enhanced visuals. This also means that despite the improved images, it can still be used on PC’s with average specs. You also do not need to install any add-ons as the pack can run on its own.
