What is Repurpose Mod 1.12.2?
Many players wanted to enhance their Minecraft gaming experience without changing the top gameplay elements of the vanilla game. That’s where Repurpose mod 1.12.2 comes in. It adds to the gameplay experience by enhancing what is already present in the vanilla game. In fact, it makes the game a lot more interesting without really adding a ton of new items and mechanics, like many Minecraft mods.
Repurpose mod added features that make things more exciting. There are added functions for items, blocks, functionalities, and even enchantments. It will change how players use these things before.
The mod makes a lot of things easier to accomplish so that players can focus more on building.
Repurpose mod adds the bed compass, which allows you to find the last bed you slept in, given that you are in the Overworld, and had slept in bed. It also gives an easier way of gaining enchantment books. Stone shears are added so that you don’t have to use precious iron to cut grass or harvest wool from sheep.
Swift blades had been added, which is a sword with a faster swing given its material. There are also sickles for cutting grass in a wide area, though not crops.
Squishing three iron nuggets together will also yield an iron lump which can be made into chainmail armor. Three of these can be made into an iron ingot.
The blocks are even tampered with to make them more exciting. A Redstone Clock is added where the redstone power can be configured. Dirt slabs that can be used to deter monsters had been added. They can be turned to stairs or walls, which don’t crumble. They turn into grass if such blocks are nearby.
There are also grass slabs, grass stairs, and grass walls. These can make building a little different, and interesting.
Enrich farmlands can also be crafted, where anything can be grown. There is also a redstone scanner that can trigger traps when creatures or people are near.
If you need a little bit of redstone power, mini blocks of redstone can be made as well. There is also a half-sized glowstone.
Farming is made much easier. You can harvest and replant with just one right click. Coal ores can also drop diamond shards. These can be crafted into diamonds when there are enough.
Leaf blocks can also drop sticks or apples when broken without shears. Tall grass also drops different types of seeds. There are also a lot of new recipes with vanilla items, and the option of smelting things back into their ingredients.
Dirt also drop more items when broken, making it more exciting to look for them. This can also be said for stones, which only drop cobblestones once.
A function has also been added to generate flat bedrocks so that players can dig deeper, and don’t have to jump around too much to get to places.
There is one added enchantment in the game. It’s the step assist. It’s not the auto-jump feature, but it allows easier navigation by automatically moving up a block similar to a horse. It has three levels. The first allows for one block, the second is 1.5, like fences and walls, while the third level allows the player to jump two blocks automatically.
The author had not said any plans, but many fans are requesting for new content, like a crafting table for example.
Repurpose mod is made for Minecraft 1.12.2. It needs those versions to work. It also requires the Minecraft Forge.
There are older versions of this mod, but they are in the original name of Wuest Utilities.
