Medieval Darkness Resource Pack is a pack that delivers what its name clearly implies. It is a medieval-themed resource pack that offers exceptionally clean textures. While there are other packs that have similar themes, Medieval Darkness still manages to stand out from the rest because of the darker color palette it uses. The visuals are more dramatic and look incredibly polished. In addition to the colors, one other factor that makes this pack remarkable is how it utilizes the high-quality Rhodox’s Painterly Pack. So, even if you already have another medieval resource pack, this one is certainly still worth checking out.
Medieval Darkness Resource Pack 1.11 implements detailed textures that are free from noise. What you get are solid visuals without any of the grainy details you often see in packs with noisy images. You can expect to have really clear details on the blocks that make the game more visually appealing. Despite the incredible features, the pack does come with some issues. Because of the darker colors used, the details may sometimes be hard to identify when it is dark. However aside from this minor challenge, the pack is still one of the best medieval-themed resource packs available.
Medieval Resource Pack operates on a 16×16 resolution. This is the same resolution used by vanilla. This basically means you should have no problem running the pack. As long as your PC can support default, Medieval Darkness should work like a charm without any lagging issues. So, if you are a fan of medieval-themed packs and would like something that appears more dramatic, then this is the resource pack for you. Installation is easy as it does not require any add-ons for the build. Just make sure that you get the resource pack version that is compatible with your client.
